Why did you choose to become a teacher?

I would say that I was born to be a teacher. Growing up,  I was always the "teacher" and the neighbor kids were my "students." I enjoy teaching so much; I never think of what I do as my "job,"

Why did you choose to become a National Board Certified Teacher?

I have been involved with NBPTS for eighteen plus years; over this period of time I have grown to deeply value the certification process. As a NBCT, I am honored to be able stand among the most dedicated, and professional teachers anywhere.

What have you learned from being a National Board Certified Teacher?

National Board Certified Teachers stand out in their profession. They stand out because the certification process builds their awareness of what accomplished teachers know and do.
