Why did you choose to become a teacher?

I love learning. I wanted other people to love it like I do. Since I was 4 years old teaching my stuffed animals being a teacher is all I ever wanted to be.

Why did you choose to become a National Board Certified Teacher?

I think all good teachers are lifetime learners. The National Board's process allowed me to reflect on myself as a teacher and a learner and helped me to grow in both areas.

What have you learned from being a National Board Certified Teacher?

I have learned that by striving to become my best self as a learner and a teacher I become an excellent model for my students to strive to be their best selves as well.
